The Atlas Life was created in January of 2006 under some unusual circumstances. Guitarist and Lead Vocalist Frank was in Florida writing songs while Jason and Jeff were 1000 miles away in Illinois. The internet became their practice space where Frank would send them his guitar tracks so that they could learn and add their parts before he came home. Even though they had never actually played all together the band decided to take a chance and in April when Frank was home for one week they went into the studio and recorded a couple songs. After another quick session in July they were able to finish “From Here To There” completely, which was released soon after on MySpace.

When Frank graduated in late 2006 he returned home and the band began their fury of writing and recording more songs. These pieces will soon be heard on their debut self-titled album which will be released later this year.
